LYNN lives in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, where she has developed expertise on pivotal business issues. Hampton Roads has the second–busiest and fastest-growing port on the East Coast, the largest naval base in the world, and one of the country's best heart hospitals. The historic region includes Jamestown, Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Norfolk and is a premier tourist destination. Hampton Roads also hosts headquarters of several Fortune 500 companies.

Lynn has written about housing and mortgage fraud, white–collar crime, Customs, and counterfeiting. As the Hampton Roads correspondent for Virginia Business magazine, Lynn wrote in–depth pieces on the transportation issues that continue to dog the region's development. In addition, she wrote trend pieces on how McMansions are altering the traditional lifestyle of the Outer Banks.

She has ghostwritten for CEOs and often turns the ideas of business professionals into readable, entertaining copy. Her ghostwritten articles have appeared in professional journals and Web sites. She is a regular contributor to Dominion Enterprises (formerly partnered with Trader Publications), which publishes a series of niche magazines, including Towing & Recovery Footnotes, a large–circulation tabloid exploring issues of the towing industry.
